Every culture has designed vessels of which the form follows the vessel’s function. The function of the vessel may vary, however all are an extension of the culture’s values. Whether created for carrying water, cooking food, or storing provisions, the design is informed by its purpose. The design and decoration would evolve to better represent the region, culture, or person of it’s creation.

Now remove the vessel from the context of its cultural origin and the form is celebrated as the function becomes subtext.

A round is a single cartridge containing a projectile, propellant, primer and casing. A round is the expendable component part of a weapon system that creates the destructive effect on a target.
